Privacy Policy

Applies to all BitHunch LLC applications

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not want your personal details. Our apps can be played without giving us your name, email address or phone number.

We do not sell personal information, and we never have.

What we collect

We collect no personal information directly. Some of our apps record anonymous usage and diagnostic data — which levels are reached, which features are used, and details of any crash — so we can find bugs and understand what needs work. This data is not linked to your name or your identity.

If you contact us by email, we keep that message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you.

Services we rely on

Our apps use a small number of third-party services, and each one has its own privacy policy that governs the data it handles:

  • App stores. Apple and Google process purchases and downloads. We receive anonymous, aggregated sales and installation reports, never your payment details.
  • Game services. Where an app offers leaderboards or achievements, Apple Game Center or Google Play Games handles them under your existing Apple or Google account. Your gamertag is visible to other players; your real identity is not shared with us.
  • Analytics and crash reporting. Some apps report anonymous usage and crash data so we can diagnose problems.
  • Advertising. Some of our free apps display ads from third-party ad networks. Those networks may use your device advertising identifier to choose which ads to show. Paid apps do not display ads.

Advertising identifiers

Where ads are shown, the ad network may read your device advertising identifier — a resettable ID that is not tied to your name. You can reset it or turn off personalised advertising at any time: on iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and on Android under Settings › Google › Ads. Turning it off does not stop ads appearing; it makes them less specific.

Children

Our apps are suitable for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

Because we hold no account for you, there is usually nothing of yours for us to look up. You can delete an app at any time, which removes the data stored on your device. Where you have written to us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence.

If you live in California, the EEA or the UK, you have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Email us and we will respond. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

Security and retention

We keep only what is described above, for only as long as it is useful, and we protect it with reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and revise the date below. Material changes will be noted here.
